Research

Esbensen has participated in more than 30 projects that have been selected to receive support from the EU framework programs for research, development and demonstration on Energy and Indoor Environment. We have been selected to represent Danish interests in a wide range of projects under the auspices of the International Energy Agency's Solar Heating and Cooling Program, IEA SHC, and IEA PVPS, Photovoltaic Power Systems.

Most of these projects have had Danish accompanying projects about implementation of the international results to Danish conditions. These projects have been supported by the development scheme for renewable energy, energy research programs, PSO-subsidy schemes, etc.

Participation in these types of projects ensures that we are always up to date with the latest knowledge internationally, as we are taking part of an international network. The network consists of experts, specialists, researchers and laboratories who assist one another with the development of ideas, reviews and the development of the subject area around energy and indoor climate in buildings.

EU Hospitals. The development project aims to demonstrate the significant reductions in energy consumption which can be achieved in the hospital sector of Europe.
