Prequalified for City in between, Aalborg

Esbensen, along with Tegnestuen Vandkunsten, Hausenberg Aps, Sloth Møller A/S, Tyréns AB and others, has prequalified for "City in between - Eastern Aalborg, strategy for an international and sustainable suburb."

Aalborg Municipality and Realdania received a total of 36 timely applications, of which 5 teams were selected.

The reason for the selection / evaluation of the team were:

A strong team with relevant skills with good technical support, since it is expected that Vandkunsten itself is responsible for the landscape shaping. The team has several good contemporary urban development processes behind it. It has strong references within the process, sustainability, retail knowledge, etc. and has over the years worked extensively with new housing types and will be able to contribute in the competition. The overall assessment is that, this is a very exciting and competent team.
