Winner of the ELFORSK Prize 2012
The digital tool A+E:3D for architectural energy optimization of buildings early in the design phase became the winner of the ELFORSK PRIZE 2012.
The tool is developed by architect Vibeke Grube Larsen - vglchp, ILP, Henning Larsen Architects, SBi and Esbensen A/S. Esbensen has represented the consulting engineer's perspective and has helped with the principles of Integrated Energy Design.
The tool works as an superstructure to BE10 and by using the innovative 3D modelling one can already at the sketch plan recognize if the building's energy use can comply with Building Regulations.
