ACTUALLY
Opening of Life and Light Søndermarken
13th October 2011 was the first phase of the project Life and Light opened.
This happend when runners from both developers, consultants, suppliers and contractors took the 2.5 km long interactive jogging trail in use.
The trail has built-in lighting and digital functions as well as four related activity points to facilitate movement and play.

Lectureship at Arkitektskolen Aarhus
Since August 2011 Maria Gaardsted has worked part-time teaching at Aarhus School of Architecture. The lectureship includes development and implementation of education in sustainability for architects and further development of the interdisciplinary collaboration/interfaces between architects and engineers in construction.
